In the Beginning
In 1967 Gary Griffeth came to Rexburg to start the Health Science Department at Ricks College. He was a farm boy from Preston, ID who had been a practicing Physical Therapist in Southern California and decided he really wanted to raise his growing family in Idaho. In 1968, he started the first Physical Therapy practice in Rexburg, in the basement of the old, red brick hospital. He saw patients after teaching all day and often worked until after 8:00 pm.
In 1991 his daughter, Alicia Siddoway, came to Idaho with her family to work with her dad. All of Gary and Carol’s children and many nieces and nephews have worked in the practice in various capacities over the years.
Gary began, and Alicia and her team continue, the tradition of treating patients like they are family. They provide skilled, expert physical therapy in a friendly, fun atmosphere that makes people feel welcomed and comfortable.
