Alicia Siddoway

Alicia Siddoway

Owner, PT

Alicia was raised in Rexburg. She attended Madison Schools, Ricks College, and BYU before graduating with a Physical Therapy degree from University of Washington-Seattle. She trained in Burn and Wound care at Harborview Burn and Trauma Center. Alicia and her husband Duane have five children and lived in Seattle, Denver, and Southern California before returning home to Rexburg.

Alicia worked with her father, Gary Griffeth, for 20 years. After Gary retired, Alicia opened Advanced Physical Therapy & Wound Center on the corner of Main Street and Professional Plaza in 2014. She is the most experienced wound therapist in the state and specializes in total joint rehabilitation and strengthening and balance programs. She loves to help at the ranch and spend time with family (especially her grandkids).

 

Kristi Neibaur

Kristi Neibaur

PT, DPT, PRPC

Kristi grew up in Sugar City, and later graduated from Bonneville High School. She attended Utah Valley University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She attended Idaho State University for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and started her career in pediatrics. She then transitioned to work with the elderly population through home health and working with Assisted Living Facilities, where she developed a love for treating all ages. Finally deciding to come back to her roots, Kristi has joined Alicia here at Advanced Physical Therapy & Wound and is ecstatic to give back to the community.

Kristi is busy raising her 6 children with her husband, Bryant. Having 6 kids in 6 years, she has been through her share of pelvic dysfunction. Knowing that there are ways to help, she has specialized in the realm of pelvic health, with advanced education and certification to help all kinds of pelvic dysfunction. She has treated thousands of pelvic health patients and is the best in the area for this specialty. As a D1 collegiate athlete, she also has a love for and experience with athletic rehab and sports performance and has worked with hundreds of high school athletes. She knows what it takes to be successful!

Anthony Humphries

Anthony Humphries

PT, DPT

Anthony grew up in Grant, Idaho with his grandparents. Anthony graduated from Rigby High School in 2010, where he and his wife were high school sweethearts. After high school, Anthony served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Leeds, England. Upon returning home, he attended college at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. Anthony attended Campbell University for his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He then began his career here at Advanced Physical Therapy & Wound Center, where he is excited to contribute to the community!

Anthony is married to his best friend, Morgan Humphries. They have two huskies and love being outdoors. Anthony has a special interest in Ankle and Cervical orthopedic rehabilitation and a passion for wound care. He is currently working towards his wound care specialty certification.

Jakob Carstens

Jakob Carstens

PT, DPT

Jakob grew up in Grant, Idaho, where he lived until the 3rd grade when the Carstens family moved to Houston, TX. After High School, Jakob served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to Cape Coast, Ghana, where he spoke Twi, Fante, ASL, and English. Upon returning home, Jakob attended college at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. He went on to attend Idaho State University for his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He then began his career here at Advanced Physical Therapy & Wound Center, where he is excited to contribute to the community!

Jakob is married to his sweetheart Hillaree Carstens, and they have three children. Jakob enjoys backpacking, family time, programming, recreational target shooting, and cooking in his free time. Jakob has a special interest in sports and vestibular rehabilitation, wound care, and orthopedics.

Elaine Spang

Elaine Spang

PTA, LMT, CKTP

Elaine was born in Dayton, Ohio; she moved to Jackson Hole at 18 and couldn’t resist the draw of the mountains. She attended Idaho State University, where she completed her Physical Therapy Assistant degree. Elaine is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, a licensed Massage Therapist, and a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She is gifted in manual therapy and passionate about adding new skills and techniques to benefit our patients, including kinesio taping, muscle energy techniques, and cupping. 

Elaine and her husband, Ing, and her dog, Twyla, love living in Teton Valley. She spends her spare time producing beautiful artwork, hiking, biking, and cross country skiing.

 

Sheila Sommer

Sheila was raised in Rexburg, Idaho, where she graduated from Madison High School in 1984. Sheila returned to school and completed her Physical Therapy Assistant degree at Brigham Young University-Idaho. She has since received extensive advanced training in pelvic health therapy. 

Sheila is a mother of six and grandmother of seven who enjoys hiking, biking, cross country skiing, movies, and anything her family can do together. In addition to her passion for pelvic health PT, Sheila is also interested in helping men and women improve the quality of their lives by addressing neck and back problems with core strengthening. Her creative approach produces outstanding results!

 

Linzi Christensen

Linzi Christensen

PTA

Linzi was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho where she graduated from Madison High School. She went on to complete her Physical Therapy Assistant degree at Brigham Young University-Idaho. Linzi has received extensive advanced training in pelvic health therapy. She is also working to become a licensed pregnancy and postpartum athleticism coach. In addition, Linzi loves working with orthopedic patients of all ages. 

Linzi and her husband, Jedd, have two beautiful children. When she’s not working, she is spending time with her family, playing games, riding horses, and enjoying what the outdoors has to offer. Linzi is excited to be part of the Advanced Physical Therapy team, particularly the most experienced pelvic health providers in the region. She is anxious to help all her patients receive the best treatments available and reach their goals.
